Chad grew up racing BMX and a few triathlons before switching to road racing at the age of 16 and by 19 had turned Professional. He has raced professionally for Jittery Joe's, Tiaa-CREF slipstream, BMC, Kenda 5hr Energy and has raced in over 30 countries around the world. He excels at sprinting and lead-outs.
Chad Career highlights include: National Champion- Track, Madison 2nd place national championship, points race, madison, team pursuit 3rd place national championship, espoir Time Trail 1st NCC criterium, Fond d'lac 1st overall Tour of America's Dairyland 7 stages lifetime, tour of Americas Dairyland 1st overall Intelligensia Cup Prairie state 1st Univest Doylestown criterium best American Univest GP overall Sprint Jersey winner Superweek 2nd overall, young rider competition Tour of Georgia 2 time winner of Valley of the Sun Criterium
Chad has also helped mentor several riders on their way to the professional ranks, including James Stemper, Rob White, and Matthew busche. He also served in management position on the Kenda 5hr energy team, as well as his current team Sharecare.
